iPad doesn't see my Mac in the host list
Check that both devices are on the same Wi-Fi, or that your USB-C cable is plugged directly into the Mac (not into a dock).

Pairing fails or times out
Make sure both apps are on the latest version. Force-quit and reopen both. Check that your firewall isn’t blocking "_lightspan._tcp" Bonjour service.

Display flickers or freezes briefly
Toggle "Use Wi-Fi" off and back on in the Mac menu bar. If you’re on Wi-Fi, switch your access point off DFS channels — some Wi-Fi 6 routers stall briefly on radar events.

Audio doesn't work
Grant System Audio permission: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone (Apple labels it Microphone) → enable Lightspan.

Cursor feels laggy
The cursor is rendered as an overlay, separate from the video pipeline. If the video is fine but the cursor lags, restart the Mac app.
