Lightspan Download

Terms

Last updated: 2 May 2026.

By installing or using Lightspan you agree to these terms. They're short and reasonable.

What Lightspan does

Lightspan installs on both your Mac and your iPad. Together, they let you use your iPad as a second display for your Mac. The product is sold on the Apple App Store; the Mac component downloads from lightspan.app.

Your license

Buying Lightspan grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it on any iPad signed into your Apple ID, plus any member of your Family Sharing group, and on any Mac you own.

You may not redistribute Lightspan, decompile it, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Refunds

Lightspan is sold by Apple via the App Store. Refund requests go through Apple's standard flow at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Disclaimer

The apps are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We've tested Lightspan extensively but can't guarantee it'll work in every network, on every iPad, with every macOS update. If something doesn't work, write to support@lightspan.app and we'll do our best to fix it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the apps — including data loss, hardware damage, or business interruption. Your maximum remedy is a refund of what you paid for the app.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the apps after a change constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes are resolved in the courts of Germany.
